I wanted to try to reinstall the game itself, but I don't know where or how to do that. The Descent takes place underground in the Deep Roads as you strive to find the source of unnaturally common earthquakes in the Storm Coast. The Legacy expansion and Black Emporium are both listed in my "downloadable content" tab on the main menu. The Descent was one of three major DLCs for Dragon Age: Inquisition, all of which added a whole new map, a new story, and new character interactions. A thorough search of the Hawke Estate showed, however, that there was no statue. When it did not, I looked it up and read about the statue. After downloading Dragon Age II, right click on the zip file and click on Extract to .v1.04. (you need 7-Zip, which You can get. I hadn't read about the statue in the Hawke Estate (or Gamlen's house) and assumed it would arrive in a letter or something of the sort. The gear you get from them scales to the level you are when you receive it, though, so a lot of people like to play them in Act 3 so the gear is still useful for the final battle. The BE should appear on the world map, and Legacy should be accessible via the statue you mention. Now in Act 3 of the game, I started to wonder when the legacy expansion would become available. The DLC is modular enough that you can really play them anytime there's no specific time in the story that they take place. Looking back, I notice that the mabari that comes with Black Emporium was not present at Gamlen's house.
I have just recently finished playing through Dragon Age II, only to find that I hadn't bought the Legacy expansion (which I wanted to play before I delve into Inquisition again.) After purchasing the Legacy expansion, the Black Emporium, and mage item packs 1 and 2 from the Bioware Social website, I began a new game without checking to see if the expansions had made it into the game.
